Flight uses flat steel components that laser cut to the same "pointed oval" shape.
Each one was then put through a roller to give them different curved effects.
Cuts were made in a number of the components, allowing them to be fit together in a vertical assembly, rising from the base as if they were wings in motion, lifting a large bird into flight.
The uppermost piece poised to leave the ground completely behind.
The piece is finished in a gloss black enamel paint.
